Great post! Found another site which I must admit has come in handy: TravelMonks

They have a pretty good dynamic map of a lot of places and things, like this one on nightlife or this one on wireless internet places.

I am looking at travel to Thailand for some golf and am wanting some advice on where to go to play golf - Bangkok, Hua Hin? What is the best golf destination do you think? Should I use a golf tour company or book everything on my own. I have googled quite a few sites and am down to golfasian.com and golforient.com but not sure if I should just book everything on my own? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Yes thecourses are very beautiful in thailand. I have golfed around hua hin the last three years. I have not found the greenfees to be cheaper. In fact they are higher than canada where you can play most courses for between 4o and 50 dollars.I consistently paid 2600 baht and up then add caddy fee and tip your looking at 100 dollars per round.
